Daddy Day Care - Day 4

الحمدلله
everything is ok and I've reached my 4th day of being a "nanny" or is there such thing as Danddy??? Like the other days, I've recorded a lot of clips of my "work" but starting from now on I'm gonna keep most of them as my private collections. However I'll share some of it which could be a how-to to other parents who like the Marjan way of parenting...

To me, the most important lesson of them all is Tauhid . This is one of my method to instill this knowledge to my kids; The Shahadah as the primary lullaby

Daddy Day Care - Day 3

I'm enjoying taking care of my kids even though it get tough sometimes :) . I just hope that I'm a good father that can lead and guide them to the righteous path.

Daddy Day Care - Day 2

On day 2 ZA and Rayyan gang-up to poop on me. This is nothing compared to yesterday's tantrum!!!

Since yesterday ZA refuses to eat rice for lunch. So mommy came to the rescue at noon to assist me on this but still ZA made a scene. This worry us the most because ZA prefer "Heinz in the bottle" compared to home cooked food for lunch. We want to instill some kampungness in her bcos nanti jadi macam bapaknya...asyik2 hotdog, burger, fish finger and tak nak nasik!!! According to our maid; when she was around, ZA likes rice very much. Evertime we ask she said that ZA eat up all rice and the soup by mommy.....

Daddy Day Care - Day 1

Our domestic helper is having a break so Daddy and Mommy will take turn to take care of ZA and Rayyan. For the first week daddy will work from home and be the "Daddy Day Care" ( Special thanks to my bosses for this!)

I have no problem of taking care of ZA and Rayyan, so I thought. They are sweet little pumpkins and I'm the so called strong daddy. Oh dear I was wrong on this, I just found out that my strength can match ZA and Rayyan when they gang-up throwing tantrums on me!!!

I never teach her on how to wear shoe or help me to wear shoe. This is a classic example of learning by observing by ZA :) . She just rocks at it!!!

Rayyan loves Daddy high pitch voice

Study shows that baby prefer high pitch voice. This is known as Speaking Parentese and I love doing it. Every time I do this, Rayyan will throw back a big big smile :)

Hindi & Urdu lesson from Mommy

Daddy is teaching ZA EN-US, AR-SA and MS-MY. And now mommy is pushing another language??? Hindi? LOL

Berkaki ayam

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Acap kali saya ketemu mat salleh membiarkan anak-anak mereka bermain sambil berkaki ayam. Bila sampai bab begini kita selalu melabelkan... "eee...omputeh nie pengotor lah" . Itu standartlah bagi org kita kerana kita telah didik bahawa "kalau tak pakai selipar nanti cacing masuk kaki, boleh sakit, boleh mati dan sebagainya".

Saya ada terbaca bahawa membiarkan anak2 kecil bermain berkaki ayam dapat membantu perkembangan minda. Ini kerana ransangan2 di tapak kaki mengajar mereka mengenai bentuk permukaan bumi yang bermacam-macam. Memang betul bermain berkaki ayam diluar itu kotor tapi kotor boleh basuh. Perkembangan minda tak dapat dibeli atau ditop up bila dia org dah besar. Lagi satu, bila berkaki ayam tu agak-agak lah. Ibu bapa perlu peka, jika ada benda bahaya seperti kaca dan sebagainya sila alihkan atau beralih bermain di tempat lain...


Saya bercadang untuk berpesta kaki ayam bersama keluarga di:-
1. Pantai
2. Padang yang rumputnya cantik
3. Sungai
4. Paya,Sawah Padi atau kawasan berselut ( Mana nak carik kawasan macam nie kat KL? Sapa ada access boleh bagi tau tak? Kami mauuuuuuuuuuu )
